By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service has issued its latest forecast, indicating that moist and unstable conditions are prevailing across Belize.
While the day will start with a mix of sun and clouds, residents should be prepared for isolated showers or thunderstorms to develop, particularly in inland areas. By this evening, these scattered showers are likely to become more widespread, affecting most parts of the country.
Coastal areas can expect highs around 90°F and lows near 82°F. Inland, temperatures will be a bit warmer, reaching up to 94°F before cooling down to around 73°F tonight. Those in the hills can anticipate a slightly milder day with highs near 82°F and lows around 68°F.
Marine conditions are expected to remain favorable, with easterly winds blowing at 5-10 knots and calm seas.
The unsettled weather pattern is set to continue into Thursday, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms expected throughout the day and night.
The good news is that there’s no immediate threat of tropical cyclone formation in the region.
