By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize Weather Bureau is reporting fair weather conditions across the country today, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms expected.
Today’s 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with brief cloudy spells during the day, and cloudy conditions at times tonight.
Showers and thunderstorms will remain isolated, though there is a slight increase in shower activity anticipated inland this morning and later tonight along coastal areas.
Winds are blowing from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots, generating choppy seas with waves between 3 to 5 feet. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 89 degrees along the coast, and 82 degrees in the hills.
Tonight, temperatures will fall to around 74 degrees inland, 82 degrees along the coast, and 68 degrees in elevated areas.
Forecasters say conditions on Tuesday will be cloudy at times, with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially over the south of the country during the night.
The tide will be low this morning at 8:59 and again tonight at 10:11, with a high tide this afternoon at 2:52 and another early tomorrow at 4:23 a.m. Sunrise today is at 5:17 a.m., and sunset is at 6:24 p.m. The moon will rise at 11:34 a.m. and set at 12:16 a.m.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.
