By Belize Live News Staff: A 23-year-old woman from Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District, has reported a violent domestic incident involving her common-law husband.
According to reports, the incident occurred on April 19, 2026, when the man allegedly became aggressive after demanding food.
The situation escalated when he reportedly broke a mirror, threatened her, and physically assaulted her, causing injuries.
The woman managed to leave the home with her child and reported the matter to police. Her injuries were later certified as harm.
Police have launched an investigation, and the suspect is currently being sought.
