By Belize Live News Staff: A 45-year-old electrician was killed in a motorcycle accident in Bella Vista Village, Toledo District, on Wednesday night.
Police said Jose Samuel Hoppington was riding a red Skygo 150cc motorcycle when he collided with a black Lifan 150cc motorcycle driven by 34-year-old Xiomara Molina, a high school teacher.
The accident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in front of the Toledo Teacher’s Credit Union.
Hoppington was pronounced dead at the Independence Poly Clinic. Molina sustained injuries to her forehead, left leg and left forearm.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
