By Belize Live News Staff: Friday brings a mix of sun, clouds and a chance of rain across Belize.
The Met Service says the morning will start with light rain in the south. As the day goes on, showers and thunderstorms may develop over inland areas during the afternoon.
Tonight, clouds will move in at times, with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Northern communities could see a little more rain than the rest of the country.
Highs today will reach 89°F on the coast, 93°F inland and 80°F in the hills. Overnight lows will dip to 79°F on the coast, 74°F inland and 68°F in the hills.
Marine conditions are calm, with light and variable winds, slight seas and waves of 1 to 3 feet.
Saturday will be cloudy at times, with generally isolated showers or thunderstorms. More showers are possible along the coast late Saturday night.
Today’s high tides are at 9:09am and 9:05pm, with low tide at 3:09pm. Sunset is at 5:35pm.
Hurricane Isaias remains in the Gulf of Mexico and is not expected to directly affect Belize.
