Moist and unstable conditions continue across the country

Moist and unstable weather conditions are expected to persist across the country over the next 24 hours, before a cooler and drier airmass moves into the region as a cold front approaches and crosses the island.

Cloudy skies will prevail today with a few sunny breaks. Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop mainly offshore and along coastal areas during the morning, spreading inland by the afternoon and evening. Tonight, skies will remain cloudy at times, with a few showers and periods of rain developing along the coast and offshore, decreasing by morning.

Temperatures will remain warm across most areas. Coastal sections will reach highs near 80 degrees Fahrenheit, while inland areas will peak around 81 degrees. Cooler conditions will be experienced in the hills, where temperatures will range near 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
