By Belize Live News Staff: The excitement continues in Punta Gorda today as Day 2 of the Belize Birding Festival 2025 takes flight, drawing bird lovers, researchers, and eco-tourists for another day of adventure and discovery.
The three-day festival, hosted at the Punta Gorda Sports Complex, runs through October 5th and features guest speakers, interactive workshops, and guided birdwatching experiences through Toledo’s rich tropical landscapes.
Participants are spotting some of Belize’s most iconic birds, from the keel-billed toucan to the jabiru stork, while learning about conservation and the importance of protecting natural habitats.
The event has become one of Belize’s leading eco-tourism attractions, uniting local communities, conservation groups, and international travelers in a shared love for birds and nature.
