By Belize Live News Staff: Belize begins the morning under generally fair weather conditions, according to the National Meteorological Service’s 6:00 a.m. update.
Forecasters say today will feature sunny skies with a few cloudy periods, while tonight will be partly cloudy. Only isolated showers are expected throughout the day, with slightly more developing over southern areas later tonight.
Winds will blow from the east to northeast at 5–15 knots, keeping seas slight and waves between 1 and 3 feet. Temperatures remain warm, with highs of 86°F along the coast, 89°F inland, and 79°F in the hills. Tonight’s temperatures drop to 78°F on the coast, 70°F inland, and 67°F in the hills.
The tropical weather outlook remains inactive, and no development is expected in the North Atlantic Basin over the coming days.
Looking ahead, the extended forecast calls for cloudy spells and a few showers or isolated thunderstorms on Wednesday, especially in the south, shifting to northern and coastal areas by Wednesday night.
