Cold, windy and dry conditions prevail over Belize

Cold front brings rain, gusty winds and rough seas

By Belize Live News Staff: Cold, windy and dry conditions continue to affect Belize today as forecasters predict variably cloudy skies with little to no rainfall expected over the next 24 hours.

Winds will blow from the north to northwest at 15 to 25 knots, creating rough marine conditions. Seas are expected to remain rough with waves between 6 to 8 feet.

A small craft warning remains in effect due to strong winds and dangerous swells beyond the reef. Operators of small crafts are advised to remain in safe harbour.

Temperatures will stay cool countrywide, with coastal areas ranging from 72°F to 58°F, inland areas from 74°F to 50°F, and the hills from 63°F to 46°F.
