By Belize Live News Staff: Tropic Air has announced the arrival of three factory-new Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft, strengthening its position as the nation’s leading airline and reflecting its commitment to Belize’s aviation future.
The delivery is part of a larger fleet renewal of five brand-new aircraft within a twelve-month period. One aircraft arrived last year, three have just been delivered, and the final plane is expected before the end of this year.
Tropic Air CEO Maximillian Greif said the investment shows the company’s responsibility not only to its customers but also to Belize. “We believe we have a responsibility to advance and support the growth of Belize. This investment strengthens not only our airline, but also the aviation industry, tourism, and helps to create new opportunities for our nation,” Greif stated.
The airline currently operates more than 300 daily flights, connecting communities, families, and visitors across the country and the region. Tropic Air is the only Belizean carrier with IATA Safety Certification, underscoring its reputation as “The Airline of Belize.”
With these new planes, Tropic Air says passengers can expect enhanced safety, reliability, and comfort while the company positions itself at the forefront of modern, sustainable aviation in the region.
