Tracy Panton slams GOB’s silence on San Pedro crisis

“I don’t want to be leader just to be leader,” says Tracy Panton

By Belize Live News Staff: Tracy Taegar Panton has blasted the Government for what she described as its failure to respond to the dual crises unfolding in San Pedro.

Panton called for the immediate deployment of additional police personnel, creation of a joint task force, and implementation of a national sargassum response plan. She criticized Mayor Wally Núñez and Minister Andre Perez, saying San Pedro’s leadership has gone missing.

The UDP, she emphasized, stands with the people of San Pedro and demands action now to protect the economy and restore public safety.
