The Belize Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with a few cloudy intervals this morning, transitioning to cloudier conditions by the afternoon. Isolated showers will develop over inland and northern areas, followed by scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms spreading across most regions tonight, ahead of an approaching cold front.
Marine conditions remain moderate, with light east-southeast winds at 0-10 knots and wave heights ranging from 3 to 6 feet. While conditions are currently manageable, mariners should remain alert as weather patterns shift later in the day.
Daytime temperatures will be warm and pleasant, with highs of 83°F (28°C) along the coast, 87°F (31°C) inland, and 72°F (22°C) in the hills. Nighttime lows will cool to 72°F (22°C) on the coast, 66°F (19°C) inland, and 61°F (16°C) in the hills.
The outlook for Tuesday indicates more widespread rain, with a few showers, isolated thunderstorms, or periods of light to moderate rain expected throughout the country. By Tuesday night, rainfall activity will focus on coastal and southern areas as the cold front edges closer.
