By Belize Live News Staff: Cabinet has approved several legislative amendments, including changes to water tariffs and the national building codes. A Statutory Instrument will be signed to extend current water and sewerage tariffs until March 31, 2026. Additionally, amendments to the Belize Building Codes were approved to better reflect the country’s natural conditions and to enhance structural safety and environmental resilience in new construction.
