By Belize Live News Staff: Belize Live News has confirmed that a multiple shooting in Belize City earlier on Sunday and that one Joseph Lee Garcia has died after being shot.
Reports also indicate that the driver who was racing with the shooting victims to the hospital to seek treatment lost control and ran into the right front doors of the hospital’s main entrance on Princess Margaret Drive. In the process, a security guard was also injured by the pickup.
The other 2 shooting victims have been identified as Ronlee Petillo and Cameron August.
The shooting reportedly occured in front of Titanic Bar on the Philip Goldson Highway opposite the Immigration Department office. Multiple expended shells were found at the crime scene.
