By Belize Live News Staff: Relatively moist conditions will influence Belize’s weather today bringing periods of cloudy skies and scattered showers across various parts of the country. The Belize Meteorological Service indicates that while much of the day will remain warm, some areas will see brief showers, with conditions expected to slightly improve overnight.
The marine forecast calls for moderate sea conditions, with easterly winds blowing at 10-15 knots. Wave heights will range from 4 to 6 feet, making for slightly rough conditions in open waters. Mariners and fishermen are urged to exercise caution when navigating offshore.
Temperatures will remain within normal ranges, with coastal regions experiencing highs of 84°F (29°C) and lows of 76°F (24°C). Inland regions will be slightly warmer, peaking at 86°F (30°C) before cooling to 72°F (22°C) at night. The hills will be cooler, with daytime highs reaching 73°F (23°C) and lows dipping to 65°F (18°C).
The outlook for Thursday suggests that showers will continue in coastal and northern areas, but rainfall activity is expected to decrease by the evening, leaving only isolated showers overnight.
Today’s tidal activity includes a low tide at 8:47 AM, a high tide at 3:03 PM, and another low tide at 11:04 PM. Tomorrow’s early high tide is expected at 5:33 AM. Sunrise took place at 6:23 AM, with sunset anticipated at 5:50 PM. The moon will rise at 11:34 AM today and set at 12:03 AM tomorrow.
