By Belize Live News Staff: Belize will enjoy mainly fair weather conditions throughout the day today but a shift is anticipated as the evening progresses. The Belize Meteorological Service forecasts isolated showers during the day, with cloudy spells becoming more frequent tonight. Coastal and offshore areas are likely to experience a few showers, periods of light rain, and isolated thunderstorms overnight.
Marine conditions will remain moderate to rough, with north-northeast winds blowing at 10-20 knots. Wave heights are expected to range between 5 and 7 feet, prompting a small craft caution. Operators of small vessels are advised to stay alert for gusty winds and locally rough seas.
Temperatures across the country will stay mild and comfortable. Coastal areas will see highs of 81°F (27°C) and lows of 70°F (21°C). Inland regions will have daytime highs of 82°F (28°C) and nighttime lows of 66°F (19°C). The hills will be cooler, with highs of 65°F (18°C) and lows of 59°F (15°C).
Looking ahead, Monday and Monday night are expected to bring a continuation of this evolving weather pattern, with a few showers or periods of light rain and isolated thunderstorms likely across the country. These conditions are expected to persist in coastal and offshore areas, with possible inland development.
