By Belize Live News Staff: Police have formally arrested and charged a man in connection with a drug-related offence following an incident earlier this week.
On April 13, 2026, authorities swore to an information and complaint against Sabas Alexander Gallego. He was subsequently arrested and charged for possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another.
According to police, the substance in question is suspected to be cannabis, with a reported gross weight of 135.5 grams.
Gallego is expected to be arraigned in court, where he will have the opportunity to answer to the charge. Investigations into the matter remain ongoing.
