By Belize Live News Staff: Orange Walk, Belize, April 12, 2026 — A police operation in Orange Walk Town resulted in the discovery of suspected cannabis plants hidden in a yard.
Officers executing a search warrant at a Rose Apple Street residence initially found nothing inside the home. However, a yard search revealed two small plants growing in a container near a septic area.
Four individuals were detained and escorted to the station as police processed the plants and collected samples for evidence.
The investigation remains ongoing.
