By Belize Live News Staff: A social night out ended in a traumatic ordeal for a 24-year-old woman in Hopkins Village this past Monday. Police are currently following leads after two men executed an armed robbery in the Savannah area shortly after midnight.
The victim reported that she was with a friend when they were intercepted by two male individuals. One suspect used a firearm to gain control of the situation, while the other focused on seizing the victim’s jewelry. Despite a struggle, the thieves managed to make off with two gold chains and a gold medal.
