Nigera Rhaburn charged with intent to supply cocaine

By Belize Live News Staff: Nigera Muthra Rhaburn has been formally arrested and charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply following a police operation in Carmelita Village, Orange Walk District.

Authorities reported that a search conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2026, led to the discovery of seven small plastic bags containing a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine. The substance was weighed and amounted to 1.35 grams.

In addition, a separate quantity of suspected cocaine weighing 0.10 grams was found inside the residence. As a result, both Nigera Rhaburn and her husband, Eustace Rhaburn, were jointly charged with possession of controlled drugs.

Police confirmed that the substances were sealed as evidence in the presence of the accused. While Nigera Rhaburn signed the acknowledgment forms, Eustace Rhaburn refused to do so.

Both individuals were cautioned and remain in custody pending their court arraignment.
