Belize strengthens regional tourism ties at Central America Travel Market 2025

By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has congratulated the Central American Tourism Agency (CATA) for hosting a successful Central America Travel Market (CATM) 2025, held in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, from October 21 to 23, 2025.

The annual event brought together tourism leaders, international travel agencies, airlines, and media partners to promote Central America as a connected, multi-destination region. CATM continues to serve as a key space for collaboration, helping countries like Belize expand their global reach and attract new travelers.

Belize’s delegation used the opportunity to strengthen partnerships and showcase the country’s signature blend of reef, rainforest, and culture. The team also underscored Belize’s reputation for authentic, sustainable, and community-centered travel experiences, which continue to make the destination one of the region’s most distinctive.

The BTB noted that the event reaffirmed Belize’s commitment to regional cooperation and responsible tourism, paving the way for new opportunities across the Central American and Caribbean tourism markets.
