By Belize Live News Staff: Authorities have confirmed the death of Adrian Venicio Cruz, a resident of Santa Cruz, Benque Viejo del Carmen, Belize, following a tragic traffic accident in Guatemala.
Mr. Cruz had been hospitalized at the Melchor de Mencos hospital after being struck by a vehicle. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
His body will be laid to rest in Santa Cruz, Benque Viejo del Carmen, where funeral arrangements are currently being made.
Local authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
