By Belize Live News Staff: A shift in weather conditions is expected later tonight as a cold front moves across Belize, bringing cooler air and increased cloud cover.
The National Meteorological Service says today will remain mostly sunny and dry, but by tonight skies will turn mostly cloudy. Light rain or scattered showers are likely, especially over offshore areas as the front makes its way through.
Marine conditions will remain choppy, with north to northwest winds blowing at 10 to 15 knots and waves ranging between 3 and 5 feet.
Looking ahead, Friday and Friday night are expected to be cool and mostly dry, with little to no rainfall anticipated as the cold front clears the region.
Belizeans are advised to enjoy the warm daytime conditions but prepare for a noticeably cooler night.
