Orange Walk QRT finds cocaine during Tuesday night stop-and-search

By Belize Live News Staff: A 19-year-old Orange Walk Town resident is facing drug-related charges after police reportedly found cocaine on him during a Tuesday night stop-and-search.

Police say that on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, around 8:30 p.m., the Orange Walk Quick Response Team (QRT) conducted a stop and search on Anderson Reyes, a Belizean laborer of Casarina Street.

During the search, officers reportedly discovered 0.14 grams of cocaine.

Reyes was subsequently cautioned and charged. Police say he chose to remain silent.
