According to early information, the culprit or culprits removed the entire vault from the building, leaving behind clear signs of a forced entry.
Staff immediately contacted police upon discovering that the vault was missing. The incident closely mirrors a similar burglary at the same office last year, when thieves stole nearly $40,000 in cash.
