By Belize Live News Staff: A burglary was confirmed at Interdistrict Shipping, located on the Belize–Corozal Road, where thieves forced their way into the building by breaking open a back glass window positioned on the northern side of the structure. The building, measuring 30 by 40 feet, was left secured on Tuesday evening but was found breached early the next morning.
Their office representative from Louisville Village, Corozal, reported that between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., approximately $120 in cash was stolen. Several packages were also taken, but the contents of those parcels have not yet been confirmed.
Investigators are working to determine how many individuals were involved and whether the stolen packages contained valuable items. Officials say additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available, and all nearby businesses are urged to take precautionary measures.
