By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize Meteorological Service reports a bright but mildly unsettled morning, with sunny skies expected to dominate despite isolated showers.
While most areas will remain dry, a few brief showers could pop up over central Belize later today. Tonight, the south stands the greatest chance of additional rainfall as moisture increases near the coastline.
Marine conditions remain favorable, with the Belize Met forecasting easterly winds of 5–15 knots and choppy seas between 2 and 5 feet.
Temperatures warm quickly through the day, reaching highs of 86°F along coastal communities and 88°F inland, while cooler nighttime lows in the 60s and 70s provide a refreshing contrast.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the Belize Met warns of cloudy spells and isolated showers, particularly over the south during the morning, with coastal showers returning late Saturday night.
Despite the slight increase in moisture, the broader tropical outlook remains calm, with no cyclone activity expected in the region.
Forecaster Tareek Matthews emphasizes that overall conditions remain stable as Belize heads into the weekend.
