By Belize Live News Staff: Belmopan, Belize – The National Meteorological Service reports that mainly fair weather conditions will prevail across the country today, with sunny skies and occasional cloudy spells expected. However, inland areas could see a medium chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, while the southern region may experience a few more showers tonight.
Winds will blow from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots, producing slight seas with wave heights ranging from 1 to 3 feet. Temperatures will remain warm and typical for this time of year, with highs reaching 90°F (32°C) along the coast, 95°F (35°C) inland, and 84°F (29°C) in the hills.
Tides for today are as follows: a high tide occurred at 6:00 AM, followed by a low tide at 2:02 PM, and another high tide at 8:10 PM. Tomorrow morning will begin with a low tide at 12:36 AM.
Sunrise today was at 5:39 AM, and sunset will occur at 6:04 PM. The moonrise is expected at 3:17 PM, with moonset at 2:32 AM tomorrow.
The tropical weather outlook remains calm, with no tropical cyclone formation expected within the next 48 hours over the North Atlantic Basin.
Looking ahead to Thursday, similar weather conditions are forecast, with fair weather continuing and only isolated showers and the possibility of inland thunderstorms.
