By Belize Live News Staff: Prime Minister John Briceño has unveiled his new Cabinet, appointing a mix of experienced and fresh faces to lead key government ministries as his administration enters a new term.
Briceño, who will continue to hold the Finance, Investment, and Economic Transformation portfolio, has also named Dolores Balderamos Garcia, Rodwell Ferguson, and Osmond Martinez as Ministers of State under his leadership.
Deputy Prime Minister Cordel Hyde retains his role overseeing Natural Resources, Petroleum & Mining, while Francis Fonseca remains in charge of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Culture & Immigration. Notable appointments include Devin Daly as Minister of State for Youth & Sports and Ramon Cervantes as Minister of State for Education, Science & Technology.
The Cabinet reshuffle signals the Briceño administration’s continued focus on economic development, infrastructure, and social progress. The Prime Minister has emphasized that his team will work towards strengthening Belize’s economy, creating jobs, and addressing social issues affecting citizens.
