Defeated but not done: Shyne Barrow vows to continue serving Mesopotamia

UDP rejects alliance petition, denounces “fraud and lies” from Tracy Panton faction

By Belize Live News Staff: Despite his recent electoral defeat, UDP Party Leader Moses “Shyne” Barrow is pressing forward with his mission to support the people of Mesopotamia. In a public statement, Barrow reassured constituents that his dedication to community development remains steadfast.

Barrow, who first entered Parliament in 2020, emphasized that his work in the constituency extends beyond politics. He recently assisted a young Mesopotamian entrepreneur by providing an industrial vacuum for a car wash business, showcasing his continued support for small business development.

“My love for the people of Mesopotamia is unconditional! I will continue to work with our Mesopotamia family to develop our constituency,” Barrow stated.

He also reaffirmed his focus on key initiatives such as youth mentorship, vocational training, social assistance for single mothers, and support for vulnerable residents.

Barrow concluded his statement by underscoring his deep connection to the constituency, emphasizing that although he may no longer hold office, his commitment to Mesopotamia remains firm.

“Born in Mesopotamia, raised in Mesopotamia!” he declared.
