NOTICE: All archaeological reserves open amid inclement weather

By  Belize Live News Staff: The Institute of Archaeology (IA) under the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) has announced that all archaeological reserves are open to the public today. However, tour guides and visitors are advised to remain vigilant due to slippery trails caused by recent inclement weather.

Special caution is advised at Xunantunich, where the ferry service is currently operating with a limit of two vehicles crossing at a time. The IA/NICH is monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as conditions change.

Tour operators and the public are urged to prioritize safety while enjoying Belize’s cultural heritage sites.
