By Belize Live News Staff: On Tuesday, in a ceremony filled with optimism and anticipation, Her Excellency Dame Froyla Tzalam, Governor General of Belize, administered the oath of office to Dr. Osmond Martinez, the elected representative of the Toledo East Constituency. Dr. Martinez now assumes the role of Minister of State for Foreign Trade in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
The swearing-in ceremony was graced by the presence of Prime Minister John Briceño, fellow cabinet ministers, family members, and friends of the newly appointed minister. The atmosphere was charged with warmth and camaraderie as Dr. Martinez was welcomed into his new role.
Prime Minister Briceño and other attending ministers expressed their confidence in Dr. Martinez’s abilities and dedication, predicting that he will serve the people and Government of Belize with distinction in this new capacity.
