UB tackles registration portal issues as semester starts

By Belize Live News Staff: As schools across Belize gear up for a new academic year, University of Belize (UB) students are facing hurdles in their course registration process.

The university’s online portal has been experiencing technical difficulties, preventing students from enrolling in their desired classes. The approaching registration deadline has heightened student concerns.

UB President, Dr. Vincent Palacio, has addressed the issue, assuring students that the university is actively working to resolve the problem.

The issue stems from the software used for the portal, and UB is in direct communication with the software providers to implement a solution.
