Belize set for a sunny spell, with a sprinkle of showers later in the week

By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans and tourists alike can expect a bright and sunny start to the week, according to the latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service. While the majority of the day will be dominated by sunshine, isolated showers or thunderstorms may develop, particularly in the afternoon and evening.

Marine conditions are expected to remain calm, with light winds and slight waves. Temperatures across the country will be warm, reaching the low 90s Fahrenheit inland and the high 80s along the coast.

As the week progresses, a gradual increase in shower activity is predicted, mainly along the southern coast and late into Thursday night. However, the overall forecast remains favorable, with fair weather conditions expected to dominate.

“While we can’t rule out the occasional shower, the forecast is overwhelmingly positive,” said Forecaster Tareek Matthews. “Residents and visitors should enjoy the sunshine while it lasts and take precautions against the heat.”

The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed. For now, it seems Belize is set for a week of sunshine and warm temperatures, with the possibility of a few passing showers.
