By Belize Live News Staff: Moist and unstable conditions are prevailing across Belize, leading to cloudy skies with sunny spells today, according to the National Meteorological Service. Isolated showers or thunderstorms are expected this morning, increasing slightly over inland areas in the afternoon and southern areas tonight.
Marine conditions are expected to be relatively calm, with winds blowing from the east-southeast at 10-15 knots and light chop-producing waves of 2-4 feet.
Temperatures along the coast will range from a high of 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius) to a low of 82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsius). Inland areas will experience warmer temperatures, reaching a high of 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) and a low of 74 degrees Fahrenheit (23 degrees Celsius).
Residents and visitors are advised to stay alert for updates as the forecast predicts a few showers and isolated thunderstorms affecting most areas on Wednesday, with activity concentrated mainly in the south on Wednesday night.
