By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans will enjoy another warm and mostly dry day today, as a stable easterly airflow maintains fair weather across the country. Sunday’s forecast from the Belize National Meteorological Service points to minimal rainfall and partly cloudy skies during both the day and night.
The mercury will climb to the high 90s inland, peaking around 96°F (36°C), while coastal communities can expect temperatures hovering near 89°F (32°C). The warm conditions will be accompanied by moderate sea states and easterly winds blowing at 10 to 20 knots, resulting in wave heights of 4 to 6 feet.
No major weather disturbances are on the horizon, and Monday’s forecast suggests a continuation of the same dry and warm pattern. Small craft operators are advised to monitor sea conditions, though no advisories are currently in effect. The day’s first high tide occurred at 7:45 a.m., with a second peak expected tonight around 9:36 p.m.
With calm skies and rising temperatures, it’s a good day to get outdoors—but do so responsibly and stay cool.
