By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service is forecasting fair and mostly dry conditions across Belize as stable weather continues to dominate the region. Today’s outlook calls for mostly sunny skies with occasional cloudy spells and little or no rain expected throughout the country. Tonight’s weather will remain calm, with partly cloudy skies and continued dry conditions.
Winds will be blowing from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots, generating moderate sea conditions and wave heights of 4 to 6 feet. The heat will be more intense inland, where temperatures are expected to reach as high as 96°F. Coastal areas will experience daytime highs around 89°F and lows near 76°F, while the hills will remain cooler with highs near 80°F and nighttime lows of 66°F.
Looking ahead, the forecast for Friday and Friday night continues to point toward warm and dry weather with little to no rainfall anticipated. Tidal activity for today includes a high tide at 10:52 AM and a low tide at 6:34 PM. Tomorrow’s tides begin with a high at 12:51 AM and a low at 5:22 AM. Sunrise was at 5:20 AM this morning, and sunset is expected at 6:17 PM. The moon set earlier at 7:23 AM and will rise again tonight at 9:13 PM.
