By Belize Live News Staff: A devastating collision between a Ford Escape and a tractor on the Southern Highway has claimed the life of one individual and left three others injured. The accident occurred on Saturday evening near miles 24 and 25.
According to authorities, the Ford Escape collided with the rear of the tractor, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. All four occupants of the Ford Escape were rushed to the hospital, but sadly, Eduardo Palacio succumbed to his injuries. The remaining three individuals are currently receiving medical attention.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero stated that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is underway.
