By Belize Live News Staff: Gunfire rang out on Iguana Street in Belize City today, leaving a woman, a man, and a child injured. The incident reportedly involved two shooters on a motorcycle, who opened fire before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The victims were quickly rushed to KHMH for medical treatment. Sources say the woman was shot in the abdomen, the man in the hand and foot, and the child in the left foot. Their current conditions are unknown.
Authorities are continuing their investigations and have yet to issue a formal statement.
