Hot and windy: Belize’s dry spell continues into the weekend

Mostly sunny skies with isolated showers expected today

By Belize Live News Staff: A warm, dry, and breezy pattern continues across Belize today as a strong east to southeasterly airflow dominates the region. Expect mostly sunny skies during the day and clear conditions tonight, with no rainfall in the forecast.

It’s going to be a hot one inland, where temperatures could climb as high as 96°F (36°C). Coastal areas will be slightly cooler, with highs around 89°F (32°C), while hill regions will enjoy more moderate temperatures near 82°F (28°C).

On the water, conditions remain rough. Winds from the east to southeast are blowing at 15 to 25 knots, with occasional gusts, producing wave heights between 6 and 10 feet. A Small Craft Warning remains in effect, and boaters are strongly urged to stay in safe harbor.

This dry, warm, and windy weather pattern is expected to continue through Saturday and into Saturday night.
