By Belize Live News Staff: The dry season continues to assert itself over Belize, and today, the weather is bringing the heat—literally and figuratively. A robust easterly to southeasterly airflow is funneling warm air across the country, making for sunny skies, dry air, and a stiff breeze throughout the day.
Coastal residents can expect highs around 89°F, but inland towns will bake under a scorching 96°F sun. Hilltop communities will also feel the heat, with daytime temperatures hovering in the mid-80s.
Conditions on the sea are rough. Winds are gusting between 15–25 knots, and wave heights are up to 7 feet, prompting a Small Craft Warning. Authorities advise fishermen, tour guides, and recreational boaters to exercise extreme caution or remain docked.
The forecast holds steady for tomorrow—April continues its streak of dry, windy days, so stay cool, hydrated, and protected from the sun.
