By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans and visitors can expect another beautiful day of sunshine and warm temperatures as fair and mostly dry conditions dominate the weather forecast. Today’s outlook calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells, while the evening will bring partly cloudy conditions with little to no rainfall expected overnight.
While the majority of the country will remain dry, there is a small chance of isolated thunderstorms forming over the Maya Mountains this afternoon or evening. These storms, if they develop, are expected to be brief and localized.
Marine conditions remain favorable, with easterly to southeasterly winds at 10-15 knots and moderate sea conditions, producing waves between 3-5 feet. This provides excellent opportunities for boating, diving, and water-based excursions.
On land, temperatures will soar to 92°F (33°C) inland, with coastal areas reaching 86°F (30°C). Mountainous regions will remain cooler, with highs of 78°F (26°C). Tonight, temperatures will cool to 68°F (20°C) inland, 76°F (24°C) along the coast, and 64°F (18°C) in the hills.
Looking ahead, Thursday and Thursday night will bring more of the same fair weather, with only isolated showers expected.
For those monitoring the tides, low tide is at 7:24 AM, followed by high tide at 1:32 PM, another low tide at 9:28 PM, and high tide at 3:46 AM on Thursday. The sun rose at 6:08 AM and will set at 6:00 PM, while the moon will rise at 10:21 AM and set at 12:03 AM on Thursday.
According to Forecaster Catherine Cumberbatch, Belizeans can continue to enjoy the warm, dry weather, making it an excellent time for outdoor activities, beach outings, and exploring the country’s natural wonders.
