By Belize Live News Staff: A Belizean man was fatally shot in Honduras on Monday, adding to growing concerns over violence against Belizeans in the region.
The victim, identified as 38-year-old Larry Bernardez, was found dead on the porch of his home in Travesía, Puerto Cortes. According to local reports, Bernardez was shot multiple times, and his body was discovered by neighbors who quickly alerted authorities.
Honduran police responded to the scene and have launched an investigation.
The investigation remains active, and authorities are appealing to anyone with information to assist in bringing those responsible to justice.
