San Ignacio mourns the loss of Marvin Albeno, Courts Belize employee

By Belize Live News Staff: San Ignacio is mourning the passing of Marvin Albeno, a well-known employee at Courts, who succumbed to a critical health condition. His family confirmed his passing on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

In recent days, friends, family, and the community had rallied together, launching an urgent fundraising effort to assist with his medical expenses. An appeal for donations circulated widely, with supporters emphasizing that every contribution, no matter how small, could make a difference.

“With just one dollar and prayers, we can help Marvin fight for his life,” read an emotional plea from loved ones. Despite the overwhelming show of support, medical efforts were unsuccessful.

Albeno was a familiar face in San Ignacio Town, where he worked at Courts, earning the respect and friendship of many. His passing has left a deep void among colleagues, friends, and relatives who are now mourning his loss. His family has requested privacy but expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and kindness shown during his fight for life.
