By Belize Live News Staff: A licensed firearm holder has been charged with the murder of 20-year-old Jonathan Leonardo, a teenager from Duck Run who was fatally shot on November 20.
Police have arrested and charged 33-year-old Abraham Shal of Belmopan in connection with the case. The incident occurred last Saturday.
ACP Hilberto Romero commented, “Reference the murder of Jonathan Leonardo, we have since arrested and charged Abraham Shal for the crime of murder.”
Authorities continue their investigations as Shal awaits further legal proceedings.
