By Belize Live News Staff: The United Democratic Party (UDP) has unveiled its renewed commitment to the Belizean people, introducing fresh new faces as part of its strategy to bring better governance and deliver much-needed relief to the nation. The UDP has set its sights on replacing what it calls the “callous, corrupt, and criminal organization” currently in power, emphasizing that every ounce of its energy will focus on alleviating the struggles faced by the most vulnerable Belizeans.
As part of its mission, the UDP will field a slate of 31 passionate and qualified candidates, unified by a single goal: “Better for Belizeans!” Among the newest additions to the team are three patriotic Belizeans who bring extensive experience, leadership, and dedication to their communities:
Macario Augustine Jr., Chairman of Hopkins Village, is a proud son of the soil with deep community roots. He is determined to deliver a UDP victory in the upcoming general elections.
David Almendarez, a Tourism Entrepreneur and outspoken community activist, will represent Belize Rural Central. Almendarez has been a vocal critic of government corruption and aims to replace incumbent Dolores Balderamos Garcia, whom he describes as out of touch with the people’s needs.
Tyrone Lauriano, a career educator with a passion for teaching and community development, joins the team to represent a constituency he says has been long neglected by Kareem Musa and the current administration.
The UDP has promised to announce more new candidates in the coming days as it builds momentum for the general elections. Under its banner of “One Party, One Leader, One Goal: Better for Belizeans,” the UDP aims to reinvigorate its base and restore hope to the people of Belize.
The party’s leader has called on all Belizeans to join the movement for change, stating, “Together, we can bring an end to the suffering and deliver a better future for every citizen of this great nation.”
