By Belize Live News Staff: Residents and visitors in Belize can look forward to a pleasant day with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. A cold front passing near the country is creating mostly dry and fair conditions, according to the National Meteorological Service of Belize.
Catherine Cumberbatch, forecaster for the National Meteorological Service, predicts sunny skies with a few cloudy spells throughout the day. While there is a slight chance of isolated showers, these are most likely to occur along the southern coast and offshore.
Temperatures will be warm along the coast, with highs around 83°F (28°C) and lows of 72°F (22°C). Inland areas can expect slightly cooler temperatures, reaching 82°F (28°C) during the day and dropping to 66°F (19°C) in the evening. Those in the hills will experience the coolest temperatures, with highs of 72°F (22°C) and lows of 62°F (17°C).
Marine conditions are expected to be moderate to rough, with winds from the northwest at 10-20 knots and waves reaching 4-7 feet.
Looking ahead, Friday and Friday night are expected to be fair and cool, with little to no rainfall.
The tropical weather outlook remains quiet, with no tropical cyclone formation expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.
