By Belize Live News Staff: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) has announced that the Hawkesworth Bridge, connecting San Ignacio and Santa Elena, will reopen to the public on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, following the completion of rehabilitation works.
A final inspection by the MIDH and contractors will be conducted before the reopening to ensure all works meet safety standards.
The Ministry urges the public to drive cautiously, follow traffic laws, and take pride in maintaining the bridge.
