By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize Sugar Cane Farmers Association (BSCFA) has announced that Mr. Oscar Alonzo, who served as the Chief Executive Officer, is no longer with the organization as of November 1, 2024. The BSCFA expressed gratitude for Alonzo’s contributions over the years and extended best wishes for his future endeavors.
In light of this change, Mrs. Zune Canche has been appointed as the new General Manager. She will take over all tasks, responsibilities, and the representation of the organization to ensure a seamless transition. The BSCFA has requested that all correspondence be directed to her email at zune.canche@yahoo.com, with a copy sent to the management email bscfcom.management@gmail.com.
The leadership transition marks a new chapter as the organization continues to focus on its mission of supporting sugar cane farmers in Belize.
