From lobster to sneakers: ‘Kimmy Boo’ swipes it all after fishy Facebook date

By Belize Live News Staff: Belize City police are on the lookout for a woman known as “Kimmy Boo,” last seen in San Pedro, after an alleged online date turned into a calculated theft.

According to investigators, “Kimmy Boo” traveled to Belize City on Monday to meet a man she had been communicating with via Facebook. The pair reportedly spent the night at his residence, but by morning, she had vanished—along with several of his belongings.

The victim claims that the woman made off with a pair of Nike Vapor Max sneakers valued at $200 and a $300 Beats Bluetooth speaker. She also allegedly took five pounds of snapper fish and two pounds of lobster worth $70, as well as a pair of Jordan sneakers and twelve pieces of clothing, collectively valued at $160. The total estimated loss amounts to $730 BZD.

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the suspect. Anyone with information on “Kimmy Boo’s” whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station or call the crime hotline.
